The Fox Creek girls tennis team finished its season Oct. 9 with a 4-3 win over Batesburg-Leesville. The team had a 3-7 region record and finished fourth in Region 4AA.

North Augusta High School's swim team won five individual state championships and had one runner-up during the championship competition Oct. 6. From left to right: Nicole Fuller, won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle races; Eric Collins won the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke races; and Kelsey Williams, won the 50 freestyle race and placed second in the 100 freestyle race.
