Punt, Pass and Kick
The Punt, Pass and Kick Competition will be held Sept. 8 at the North Augusta High School football field for ages 6 to 15.
Participants must register at www.nflppk.com. Check-in will be at 8:45 a.m. with the event beginning at 9:30 a.m. Children must have a birth certificate copy and it will not be returned.
Age divisions for boys and girls are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15. The first place winner in each age division will advance to the sectional competition.
Tennis shoes must be worn, cleats are not allowed. Participants will need to bring their own water.
Bolivia Benefit Run
Grace United Methodist Church will hold the Bolivia Benefit Run on Oct. 13 at Riverview Park. There is a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile kids run, an ambulatory athletes event and a 100-yard tot trot.
Entry fees range from $10-$17 prior to Oct. 5. Forms are available at the church. Proceeds benefit the annual Bolivia mission trip.

Martial arts seminar
There will be a Gustavo Machado Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Seminar at North Augusta Martial Arts on Sept. 8.
A session for juniors will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The adult session is 1 to 4 p.m. and is $50 in advance or $60 at the door.
There are special prices for students from other schools who are first-time attendees. Instructors who bring five or more students get in free.

Girls on the Run for fall
Applications are now being accepted for the fall season of Girls on the Run of the CSRA through Sept. 10.
‘‘The not-for-profit organization offers a positive youth development program for third- to eighth-grade girls,’’ according to a news release.
The program lasts 10 weeks and combines running with interactive curricula to ‘‘inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident,’’ the news release said.
