POSITION: Shortstop and right field

AGE: 14

GRADE: Eighth

SCHOOL: Merriwether Middle

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE BASEBALL? It's my favorite sport.

WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT THING TO DO IN BASEBALL? Being in the batter's box

STANDOUT MOMENT: At a game, I had the game winning run and got one of the last outs that ended the game.

STRENGTHS: Fielding the ball, and I have a good arm.

IMPROVEMENT GOAL FOR THE SEASON: To hit better, become more disciplined and better in the field

WORST INJURY: Tendonitis in my elbow

TRAINING ROUTINE: I play in the Pony League for North Augusta and I hit off a tee at home.

FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE: Chipper Jones

WHY IS BEING INVOLVED IN SPORTS IMPORTANT? It helps keep me in shape and out of trouble.

WORST INJURY: Broke my finger and my nose
