WHY DID YOU CHOOSE BASEBALL? When I was little, I played a lot of sports, but baseball turned out to be the one I’m best at, so I stuck with it.

WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT THING TO DO IN BASEBALL? Properly hit the ball

STANDOUT MOMENT: My all-state team won second place in the state championship in summer 2010.

STRENGTHS: Fielding

IMPROVEMENT GOAL FOR THE SEASON: Improve my overall performance at second base

WORST INJURY: None

TRAINING ROUTINE: I go to the cage and hit.

FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE: Chipper Jones

WHY IS BEING INVOLVED IN SPORTS IMPORTANT? It helps me keep my grades up and it keeps me out of trouble.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TENNIS? (My mom had been) pushing me to play it and I just think it's fun.

WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT THING TO DO IN TENNIS? Hitting a slice

STANDOUT MOMENT: When I won a match by slamming it

STRENGTHS: Forehand and serve

IMPROVEMENT GOAL FOR THE SEASON: Either want to be 5th or 6th by the end of the season

WORST INJURY: I got a charley horse last year from basketball.

TRAINING ROUTINE: Run, lift weights and go out and practice

WHY IS BEING INVOLVED IN SPORTS IMPORTANT? Just to be able to be well-rounded, not just do good at school, and to keep in shape
