Fox Creek High School has seen a lot of growth of the years.
When the school opened its doors in 2004, the student body was small and the goal was to focus on community, said Sherolyn Bishop, one of the school’s founders. Bishop also wrote the school’s charter.
At first, the idea of a new school took a while to catch on, said Bishop.
However, once they hired their first teacher and the school’s first principal for their building on Martintown Road, “things kind of started to take off,” she said. “People began to realize we were actually going to be a school.”
