• The following North Augusta residents graduated from Clemson University on May 9: Joshua Emory Carter, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Production Studies in Performing Arts; Ashlyn Christine Kelly, summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences; Grace Elizabeth Manci, cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences; Veeander Sheldonia Mealing with a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering; and Katie Leigh Smith with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies.

Katy Dyches, of North Augusta, made the spring 2014 dean’s list at Southern Wesleyan University.

• The following North Augusta residents made the spring 2014 dean’s list at Clemson University: Glenn W. Barnes, Brooke Raye Busby, Alison L. Cercy, Marina Joanne Clements, Kelsey F. Cox, Megan Ann Jessee, Ashlyn Christine Kelly, Grace Elizabeth Manci, Adam W. Parler, Mary Louise Pawlowski, Hannah J. Reese, Benjamin Roy Smith Jr. and Jonathan Andrew Snyder.

Travis Smith, of North Augusta, graduated from Methodist University on May 10. He also made the dean’s list.

• Edgefield County School District will have an inclement weather make-up day on June 6.

• A Multi-Class Reunion for the 1952 to 1980 classes of Langley-Bath-Clearwater High School will be held Aug. 23 from 5 p.m. to midnight at the North Augusta Community Center, 495 Brookside Ave.

The cost is $40 per person and dress is casual. Because of limited space, paid reservations must be received by June 15.

• Summer registration is Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Open house is Aug. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Allie Gardiner was the third place elementary school winner in the North Augusta Art Show. Bryson Nuckols and Emma Leopard received honorable mentions.

• The following pupils competed Saturday after qualifying in the Hershey Track and Field competition: Amir Young, Robby Knox, Jadon Johnson, Jacari Buckson, Will Stallings, Trey Stallings, Sh’Nya Head and Tiara Missey.

• The following received a $3,000 Savannah River Nuclear Solutions Family Scholarship during a ceremony Thursday: Nicole Fuller, daughter of Kenneth Fuller with the Savannah River National Laboratory, and John Monahan, son of John Monahan with ESS&H. The scholarship is awarded to children of SRNS employees. They are evaluated based on general ability, leadership and scholastic achievement.

• Graduation will be June 5 at 2 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center.

• High school graduation will be held May 30.
