The city of Grovetown issued its first "request for proposals" for a forensic audit of city funding Tuesday, after a federal investigation launched in May uncovered a misappropriation. City accountant Richard Matthews completed the proposal Monday during a regularly scheduled city council meeting, with information from results of the continuing investigation "so far."
