MIssing N. Augusta boy found

A 10-year-old North Augusta boy who went missing yesterday has been found this morning with his biological father.

Tyson Avery Curry left his home on Summit Commons Court on his bicycle around 4:15 p.m. Thursday. About two hours later, North Augusta Department of Public Safety officials were notified that the boy was missing, sparking a search.

"It was a long night for all of us," said North Augusta public safety Lt. Tim Pearson, adding that officials are just now starting an investigation into how and why the boy went missing.

"The main thing is the child is safe and sound now," he said.

Lt. Pearson said Tyson was found at about 6:50 a.m. this morning with his biological father at North Augusta Gardens Apartments on Hugh Street. He said the father

notified authorities that Tyson was with him.

Tyson is a student at North Augusta Elementary School, and had attended classes there Thursday. His foster family told investigators he often rode his bike in the neighborhood.

Lt. Pearson said Tyson is now at North Augusta public safety and officials are trying determine how he went missing.

They found him this morning at his biological fathers house in the Gardens Apartments off Hugh Street:
