Tip Frank
SCHOOL: North Augusta High
AGE: 17
GRADE: 12th
CONTRIBUTION: Sometimes a flag runner. All the people who participate (in the student section) are seniors and whoever decides they want (to be the flag runner) do it that night. We go to a lot of the sports games, not just football, and go to most of the (football) away games.
WHAT'S YOUR MOTIVATION FOR SUPPORTING THE SCHOOL? I just have an outgoing personality. It's fun, somebody's got to be out there painting (the Jackets letters on their chest).
HOW DOES THE SCHOOL SUPPORT YOU IN YOUR ENDEAVORS? Mr. (Chuck) Deen (band director) and Coach (Dan) Pippin (football coach) always give us good comments on what we do. The players come by motivating us saying they like what we're doing. Anything we can do to make the team win, that's always a good thing.
WHAT'S SOMETHING NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT YOUR POSITION? We just tailgate, paint up and go in. Everyone who paints just has that kind of (outgoing) personality. We are just crazy senior guys who want to leave their mark on the school.
NOMINATOR'S QUOTE: "He is one of the leaders of the best student section I have ever been around. He even goes to away games," said Head Football Coach Dan Pippin.
