Belvedere First Baptist
- The Women's Ministry is collecting the following items for Belvedere Elementary School: hard candy, hand sanitizer and Kleenex.
- Operation Save the Children is Saturday. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop is from 9-11:30 a.m. Meet to discuss how to help families in the community that do not attend church.
- Senior Adult Game Day is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 12. Bring a board or card game and invite friends to attend. Sign-up in Sunday school class or call the church office.
- Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child are available. Please take one home and fill it with small toys, candy (no chocolate), school supplies and hygiene items. Return them to the church by Nov. 15.
Bel-Ridge Baptist
- A community block party will be Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. There will be inflatable games and free food.
Fairview Presbyterian
- A hardbound cookbook featuring about 600 church member's recipes is available for purchase. The $15 cookbook includes its own prop stand.
- Early bird registration for summer mission trips is Sunday. Register early for a $75 discount.
- The middle school retreat to Black Mountain is Nov. 13-15. Cost is $90 and space is available.
- A Stewardship Event dinner will be Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Dinner will be catered and entertainment will be provided by Eryn Eubanks and the Family Fold. Reservations are required by Nov. 12. Bring items to fill a shoe box for children.
First Baptist of North Augusta
- Socks for boys and girls are needed for the Laces4Love mission.
- Parent/Child Dedication is Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service. Anyone interested in participating needs to call the church office by today.
- The RAs are collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items for Community Ministry of North Augusta through Nov. 18.
Grace United Methodist
- God's Reminder to Inspire Teen Students (G.R.I.T.S.) meets Thursday at 7 a.m.
- The GIFTS Bazaar will be Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Wesley Center. Quilts, baby blankets, coaster sets, trivets, tote bags, plant hangers, aprons, scrub pads, hats and more will be sold.
- Items for Operation Christmas Child will be collected Nov. 15-23. Items needed include: hard candy, gum, T-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches and flashlights. Shoe boxes also are needed.
- The church is collecting nativity angels to display in the window sills of the Wesley Center. Anyone with an angel to share is asked to bring it to Marianne Harlan by Nov. 20.
- The Child Development Center is selling coupon books good for buy one, get one free at many area restaurants. Cost is $10. To purchase a book, stop by the church office or call (803) 279-7528.
- Applications for the 2010 medical mission trip to Bolivia for Sept. 3-12 are available.
Holy Trinity
- The church plays host to an on-going seminar on Holy Marriages and Healthy Families. The seminar held 7 - 8:15 p.m. Mondays and is useful to anyone wanting to understand the Christian perspective on sexuality, marriage and family, or for couples desiring to build or rebuild a holy marriage or healthy family.
