Fox Creek was knocked out of the playoffs after losing to Chesterfield Monday at Merriwether Middle School. Carly Barron led the Predators with strong serving tallying up seven aces.
Nearly all Lady Predators picked up an ace during the game. Carly Barron and Danielle Payne each had 8 and 14 kills respectively.
Payne also had 15 digs, Barron had 10, and Brittany Hurt had 9.
The team lost the first game in a close 23-25. Fox Creek came back strong in the second set and closed it out quickly at 25-13. For the next two sets each team battled back and forth, but strong serving from the Chesterfield helped them to finish out the night with a win. The scores for the last two sets were both 25-21.
The Predators finished their season 14-1. They won their region for the fourth year in a row. The Lady Predators are only losing senior Danielle Payne and hope to come back strong next season.
