Q: How did you get started?
A: I played T-ball at the Y and I've played ever since. My dad got me started.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the sport?
A: Probably getting to make plays in the outfield.
Q: What is the worst thing about the sport?
A: Probably the heat.
Q: Do you have any other hobbies?
A: I like to run.
Q: Where do you play in the off-season?
A: I practice with my dad at the rec or at home. We work on my pitching and speed.
Q: What has been your favorite moment in baseball?
A: My travel ball team getting to go to the world series in Tennessee.
Q: What has been your toughest moment in baseball?
A: When I went into a hitting slump. I didn't get a hit for four games. I got really mad at myself.
Q: Who is your inspiration?
A: My dad. He played high school ball and played in college at Newberry.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A: I put on my left sock and left shoe first.
Q: What do you want to do after high school?
A: I want to go to the pros and play for the (New York) Yankees or the (Atlanta) Braves.
Q: What is the most important thing you've learned playing sports?
A: To always have a good mental attitude.




One of my favorite things to do is watch him play ball.
