The following is an interview with band member Stewart Ray.
Q: How did the band get its name?
A: The band was named back in 1990 before most of us were members. Irby, our bass player, is the oldest member as far as time in the band. He came up with the name and it fit the songs that we play.
Q: Who are the members of the band?
A: Irby Toole, bass/vocals; Toby Pittman, guitar/vocals; Johnny Dixon, Keyboard/vocals; Stewart Ray, drums/vocals; and Mark Sleister, saxophone/vocals.
Q: How did the members of the band meet?
A: We met through the years. When we needed someone else in the band for whatever reason, somebody knew somebody and it went from there. Mark came on as a fill-in for us. None of us knew him or had ever even heard of him. He worked out well and has been with us for about two years now.
Q: What genre of music do you consider your work?
A: Mainly oldies. Beach music also. We do so many wedding receptions that our genre is just about everything.
Q: Do you play covers?
A: We do all covers. No one wants to dance to songs that they've never heard.
Q: What is your biggest challenge as a band?
A: Making the bride happy. They go through a lot and we want them to take the band and music off of their 'worry' list.
Q: What are the future music goals of the band?
A: Our goals are the same as always, keep all of our people happy. When we do a great job, we usually get more reception jobs from it. It makes us very proud to have done the best we can and everyone leaves satisfied.
Q: What has been an awkward moment for the band?
A: We've had our moments of embarrassment. Just recently I had to play a song from my iPod for the father/daughter dance. It was supposed to be Butterfly Kisses , a real sweet song. What came on was the Cupid Shuffle . It was bad. Another time I played a song that had the same title but the wrong song. That was the first dance song. That was real bad.
Q: Where will the band perform next?
A: Our next public appearance is not even booked yet even though we have 16 more bookings for this year. We really do mostly private parties.

I am planning to attend this event and can't wait to hear them!!
