Teachers were covered in trash bags and goggles May 26 at Belvedere Elementary School in anticipation of incoming flying whipped cream.
Pupils paid 25 cents in weeks leading up to the event to vote for their favorite teacher to receive a pie in the face.
Fourth-grade teacher Trina Snyder received about 160 votes, doubling all other votes.
"I'm not sure it's a contest I want to win next year," Snyder said, after she finished wiping whipped cream off her face.
The PTO raised $250 from the event, said Principal Rod Greenway.
Other teachers and staff that received pies include: Al Norris, custodian; Angela Coleman, kindergarten; Morgan Bowie, first grade; Debbie Vaughn, second grade; Gayle Powell, third grade; Helen Garvin, fifth grade; and Principal Greenway.
