Nike Nationals
The Tennessee Flight defeated the Boo Williams team 60-57 in the title game of the 2008 Nike Nationals tournament last week at Riverview Park Activities Center. The win gave the Flight a tournament record of 8-1.
Twenty-four of the nation's top AAU girls basketball teams competed in the tournament that draws top college coaches.

NeSmith is second
Matt NeSmith, a rising freshman at North Augusta High School, took second place in his age group at the Carolinas Junior Championship at Chechessee Creek Golf Club near Beaufort, S.C. Matt posted rounds of 72-76-70--218, which put him 14th overall in a field of 116. He is ranked No. 1 in his age group by the S.C. Junior Golf Association.
