The North Augusta High baseball and softball teams were both eliminated Wednesday night from the playoffs.
The boys fell to Boiling Springs 5-0 in the opening game of the Class AAAA District II championship, and 12-2 in a mercy-ruled shortened night cap.
The girls lost 9-3 to Hillcrest in the first game of the District III championship, and 1-0 in the second game.
Both squads needed just one victory to move on to the Upstate championship tournament.
