Living History Park gets cleaned

Posted April 1, 2008 12:39 PM

More than 50 Navy petty officers from Fort Gordon and 10 Gardenkeepers members cleaned up Living History Park Saturday. The officers, who clean up the park twice a year, cleared the stream that runs through the park, built new split-rail fences and cleaned and relaid more than 300 feet of brick walkways.

The park's monthly demonstration was held simultaneously. The blacksmith shop and backwoods cabin were open with demonstrations. Chris Myers and Stuart Stincer demonstrated English martial arts on the lawn.
