- To apply for the Ronald McDonald House Scholarship Program, students are required to submit copies of their parent's income tax forms and write a personal statement. Deadline to apply is Friday.
- The James Byrnes Foundation Scholarship is available to students who have lost a parent. Applications can be filled out online and are due Friday.
- Students interested in attending the Aiken County Career and Technology Center for the 2008-09 school year must fill out an application by Friday. Pick up applications from Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Wilson.
- An auction will be held from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the North Augusta Community Center. Tickets can be purchased from a member of the North Augusta Yellow Jacket Club. Tickets are $25 for individuals, and $45 per couple, and include a buffet dinner by Nancy Payne catering, and a silent and live auction.
- Columbia College offers music scholarships to female vocalists, pianists and instrumentalists. Auditions are Feb. 23 and April 5.
- The CSRA Prom and Pageant Expo is being held at the school from 3-6 p.m. Feb. 24, in place of the annual dress swap. Vendors will be present and there will be a fashion show. - The Show of Love fundraiser will continue through Thursday. Pupils may purchase hearts in appreciation of their favorite teacher or staff member. Hearts are 50 cents and money should be sealed in an envelope marked Show of Love. Checks should be made payable to Mossy Creek PTO. Proceeds benefit kindergarten field trips. The teacher or staff member earning the highest amount will keep a portion of the proceeds for school supplies.
- The PTO is selling popcorn today.
- The school is in need of clothing items for the clinic. Items needed include: boys and girls pants, sizes 6-8; long and short-sleeved shirts for boys and girls, sizes 6-8; boys and girls underwear socks and belts. Donations of clothing, which should be clean and in good condition, can be made in the health clinic area.
