The Greater North Augusta Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an ethics symposium for students Tuesday at Aiken Technical College.
Lectures will cover how to make the right choices in business and as a student. The seminar will be from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the amphitheater at Aiken Tech, 2276 Jefferson Davis Highway.
"They will discuss ethics and how it relates to the ethical dilemmas that sometimes businesses face," chamber President Bill Bassham said.
Mick Fekula, a professor at the University of South Carolina Aiken, will present business ethics. USC Aiken professor Mike Ritchey will lecture on ethics in the classroom, Bassham said.
Aiken County school Super-intendent Beth Everitt will give a presentation, followed by a panel discussion, Bassman said.
Ending the seminar will be a keynote address by retired Navy Adm. Chuck Munns, the president and CEO of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, he said.
Aiken Tech President Susan Winsor, Aiken Mayor Fred Cavanaugh and North Augusta Mayor Lark Jones are also scheduled to speak.
The event is free, and registration will be from 8-8:30 a.m.
