North Augusta officials investigated a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon.
At 4:53 p.m., a grey-haired man described as white and middle-aged, walked into Bank of America, 441 West Martintown Road, and demanded money from a teller, said Lt. Clay Swann of the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
"He entered the bank holding a black bag with a note taped to it," said Lt. Swann. The note said, "give me all the money."
Police said it didn't appear a weapon was involved.
After getting the money, the suspect walked out the front door and ran toward Kangaroo Express gas station, witnesses said.
Anyone with information leading to an arrest should call the North Augusta Police Department at (803) 279-2121.
