Repeated violations at night club concerns Public Safety

In broad daylight, there's no sign of Club Fusion, the teen club that inhabits a portion of the Riverfront Antique Mall on Jefferson Davis Highway. On Friday and Saturday nights, however, the area takes on a new life, and law enforcement entities are not happy about it.

Due to a designer's error, pictures of Caleb Hamilton, a Merriwether Middle School seventh grader, and Caleb Graham, a Hammond Hill Elementary School third grader, were switched in the Oct. 28 edition of Pupils of the Week. North Augusta Today regrets the error.

Fall Leaves, family add color to beige holiday

Fall... I love this time of year. The leaves decide they've had enough so they dislodge and fall to the ground (this is not a scientific explanation). My favorite visual is to watch two or three leaves swirling in front of my car like they are taking one last dance before winter comes.

Brick Yard Market makes changes

The new weekly farmer's market in North Augusta has plans to extend its season and become an educational tool to residents.

Parkway construction still ahead of schedule

Officials say the Palmetto Parkway should be open by the first week in November, which is still ahead of the Dec. 31 deadline.

Members of the first North Augusta 2000 Leadership North Augusta program began their nine-month program Oct. 7. The first class will study North Augusta life, including arts and culture, education, economic development and community service. The program's goal is to identify, develop and cultivate North Augusta leaders.
