Law enforcement has closed a North Augusta teen club plagued by problems. The North Augusta Department of Public Safety closed Club Fusion, on Jefferson Davis Highway, on Monday because of the club's violation of several fire codes, Chief John Thomas said.

A man wanted for robbing a North Augusta bank was arrested in Atlanta on Oct. 28. Sherrod Jarvis Miller, 47, was spotted driving a burgundy 1993 Mercury with Michigan tags around 10:30 a.m. by an Atlanta Police Department detective, North Augusta Department of Public Safety Tim Pearson said.

A North Augusta man took his family out to dinner for 50 cents, and police are now looking for him. According to a public safety report, the man and a woman and three children had dinner at Teresa's Mexican Restaurant at 401 W. Martintown Road on Sunday.
