North Augusta authorities have identified a suspect in the robbery of South State Bank on Nov. 27.

Frank Douglas, 58, whose last residence is listed as North Augusta, is accused of entering the bank, at Georgia and Buena Vista avenues, just before 1 p.m.

He demanded money and threatened to harm a teller, according to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

He then left the bank on foot and headed south on Georgia Avenue with the money, police stated.

Douglas was described as 5-foot-8, with a medium build and dark skin. He wore a black hooded jacket over a white collared shirt with green stripes, police said.
