Seaman Colleen E.Kennedy, a 2010 Fox Creek High School graduate, is serving in the Navy as part of a crew working aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Higgins. The ship returned in October from a nine-month deployment to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. "I love the Navy," Kennedy said. "I never thought I'd be on a ship, and it's very cool. I'm like a big kid in the candy store. I am given the opportunity to travel and see things I would never been able to see." SPECIAL
