History park building vandalized
A building in the Living History Park was found vandalized Jan. 4.
According to a North Augusta Public Safety incident report, a wood bar to the front double doors of Spring House Tavern was broken and lighter fluid was poured on the tables and on the bar.
Further investigation found that the bar had been cut by a wood saw that was found in the fireplace. A fire extinguisher was also sprayed on the ground.
Damage was estimated at $200.
