Wal-Mart employee charged in theft
A Wal-Mart employee was accused of stealing more than $7,800 worth of electronics from the store between Aug. 29 and Sept. 5.
According to a North Augusta Public Safety incident report made Sept. 6, the employee would remove the items from their boxes, conceal them in his pants pockets and return the empty boxes to the secured cage.
Items reported stolen include several cellphones and tablets.
Antonio Raynard Johnson, 20, of the 500 block of East Buena Vista Avenue was arrested and charged with breach of trust with fraud intent.
