Job Connection receives equipment, software donation
The Aiken Goodwill Job Connection has received a donation of equipment and software from the South Carolina Commission for the Blind.
Zoom Text software has been loaded onto five computers.
The software allows readers with vision impairment to magnify text on their screens or have the computer read the text to them.
The donation also included Enhanced Vision equipment which allows job seekers to read printed or projected materials, according to a news release from Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA.
Aiken Goodwill Job Connection is located at 1015 Pine Log Road, Aiken.
