North Augusta nonprofit will have talent show

Destiny Leaders, a community-based outreach program, is having auditions for its upcoming Aiken County’s Youth Got Talent competition.

Auditions will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at River of Life Church, 1411 York St. NE, Aiken.

Youths attending middle and high schools in Aiken County are eligible to audition. It is free to audition. There is an entry fee for those who are selected to participate in the competition: $10 for a solo act and $15 for a group act.

Destiny Leaders will also have a free parenthood forum and workshop Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at River of Life Church. Lunch and child care will be provided. It is sponsored by Gail Diggs, Lessie Price and River of Life Church.
