Why did you decide to run for election to city council?
“I’m just a passionate resident of the city of North Augusta. ... I think it’s a tremendous transition that’s going on with the growth here in the city of North Augusta. I’m excited about being a forward-thinking, positive person, a new voice as we move forward.”
What qualities could you bring to the council?
“I think I have a tremendous variety of experiences I can bring to the council. ... Leadership experience with the military (was in the Navy four years) and project management in construction. I live here, work here and play here.”
What are the most important issues facing North Augusta?
“We’re looking at small- business development and the current revitalization we have going on of the current downtown. We need entertainment, restaurants and stores. We need more of that revenue stream here in North Augusta. ...I’m excited about and encouraging growth with our parks and recreation department. I’m concerned for bettering our public safety department and being supportive of our public safety.”
