Letter to the Editor: Christmas Tour of Homes

Posted: December 18, 2012 - 12:53pm

Dear editor,

The 25th annual Christ-mas Tour of Homes had outstanding weather, which helped make our tour a great success. Friday night (Dec. 7) was cold and helped put us all in the Christmas spirit. We want to thank the home-owners for opening up their homes to  share with North Augusta and the CSRA. Also to the many volunteers that manned the homes. We could not have a tour without the help from the community.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the Brunch and Fashion Show that was held at the American Legion Jesse C. Lynch Memorial Post 71. Fashions were provided by White House Black Market in the Augusta Mall.

Thank you to the three businesses that sold tickets for both events – Jim Bush Florist, Communigraphics and Parks Pharmacy. The tour would not be a success with out the help of North Augusta Today. Thank you to Lisa Kaylor for the great article and pictures of the homes on tour.

Beta Sigma Phi is a service sorority and all of the proceeds are used to fund our longtime charities, such as the North Augusta (PAL) Boxing Club, School Wish List and scholarships for excelling North Augusta seniors.

Thank you North Augusta for supporting our community events.

Merry Christmas!

Linda Smiley

Publicity, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority
