Toy collection

Hammond House Assisted Living is collecting new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 15. The toys can be dropped off at 128 Walnut Lane from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Open house

The Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta will have its Holiday Open House and Artisans Market on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.  and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees can view the center’s galleries and shop in its gift shop, which will have items more than 60 local artists.

From 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, local artists will be set up as vendors.
