Who are you and where is your face?
Why are you hiding? Is it shame and
disgrace?
We can’t hide from God for he sees it all
For his eyes behold when a tiny sparrow falls
Who are you? Can others see through you?
Are you wearing a mask, to yourself are you true?
Does the world really know that person
inside?
Do you have any flaws that you’re trying to hide?
Who are you, do you treat others fair?
When you lie down to sleep, with God are you square?
When your day you survey all the things you have done
Did it glorify God and his Holy Son?
In the Garden of Eden there was Adam and Eve
And there in the beginning man tried to deceive
When God shouted out, Adam where are you?
The first lies were spawn and evil shone through
Deception and untruths hide Gods love and his grace
Yet when his light shines it will show on our face
And when that light shines, He will smile down and say
I know who you are and he’ll bless you today
