Guest performer Taylor Swan will also join Thursday’s concert on guitar and vocals.

“We play acoustic, folk, Celtic, bluegrass, classic country and gospel,” said Eryn.

Eryn said when she is not performing that she teaches music lessons.

“Also, we have weekly jam sessions and coffeehouse on Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. on the corner of Eve and Fenwick Street in Augusta,” she said. “All acoustic instruments (are) welcome.”

Q: What is the first tune that you learned and mastered?

A: I can’t remember the first tune, but it would have been a classical piece on the double bass.

Q: What are your fondest music memories?

A: Playing with older friends who are unable to play now.

Q: What advice would you give to up and coming musicians?

A: Johnny Hensley told me this: “Know why you’re doing what you are doing.” I told him I make my music to help others, and he said, “Then you will always be happy, whether you are famous or not.”

A: Our music festival that benefits Lynndale, Inc., a community support service that was established in 1952.
