Weapons were among items reported stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Robin Road. According to a North Augusta Public Safety incident report, someone forced open the rear door of the residence sometime between May 27 and June 10 and took $3,000 worth of items. Items reported stolen were a 32-inch Sony flat-screen TV, a 12-gauge single-shot shot gun, one Proline Compound bow with arrows and one .22 caliber dagger with wooden handles.
Drinking in store
A 50-year-old North Augusta woman was caught drinking wine she hadn’t paid for while still in Rite Aid on June 11.
Page Miriam Hall of Leigh Place smelled of an alcoholic beverage when police arrived around 4 p.m. at the store, 401 W. Martintown Road, according to a North Augusta Public Safety incident report.
Hall admitted to police that she stole a small box of wine and drank some while in the store before she was stopped by store employees.
She was arrested and charged with shoplifting and public consumption. She was also issued a trespass notice.
Nearly $26,500 worth of items, including a truck, was stolen from Greener Grass between 9 p.m. June 8 and 7:45 a.m. June 9.
A grey 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with an attached white 2006 Wells Cargo trailer were reported stolen. The trailer contained three mowers, four trimmers, two backpack sprayers and two blowers, according to an incident report.
