North Augusta Today asked the following question on Facebook: “What
advice would you give to this year’s high school
graduates?”

Here are the responses:

“Never give up, never, never, never!” Judy Whaley

“Today, education is more important than ever. Stay open to all ideas and gain experiences that will shape you for the next step of your journey. Oh, and have a little fun along the way!” Bart Black

“Go to class and stay away from the parties unless you are caught up with your studies!” Christopher James McDowell

“Adapt and overcome.” L.C. Smoldt

“What you do today affects tomorrow! …Professors- they are there to teach you. Use that time wisely and don’t waste it. Attend all classes, show respect and prove to them and yourself that you are up for the challenge.” Denise Pender Phillips

“Learn to balance your checkbook, write checks and not go into credit card debt!” Crystal Addison Martin

“Don’t take life too seriously...It’s just a ride” Greg Weinstein’s paraphrase of a quote from Bill Hicks
