The Savannah River Spring Fling and the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships will be held Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The carnival will include inflatables, dancers, food from Carolina Chill and Grill, cotton candy and shaved ice, mini disc golf and more.
The event is being held at The Hippodrome, 5540 Jefferson Davis Highway. Cost is $20 per vehicle up to six people, $50 vehicles of seven or more, or $10 per person and includes admission to both events.
The sixth annual Yellow Jessamine Festival will be held in downtown on Georgia Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 21.
Sponsored by the City of North Augusta and the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council, the festival will feature art, music, handmade crafts, children's activities and food vendors.

The Yellow Jessamine Art Competition will be held in the Arts and Heritage Center. The judge will be Dr. Leo Twiggs, from Orangeburg, S.C. He is a visual artist, educator, art show judge and author, according to a news release.

The North Augusta Council of Garden Clubs also will hold a plant sale. Plants are grown by club members and have been state inspected.
