Woman gets angry over electric bill
A Graniteville woman was arrested Feb. 29 for causing a disturbance at South Carolina Electric and Gas, 1839 Georgia Ave.
North Augusta Public Safety was called to the business around 3:45 p.m. and found the customer, Queen Royal Deity, of the 3000 block of Camden Way, in the parking lot, according to an incident report.
Deity, 36, told an officer that the argument was over a bill. Another officer spoke with the security guard, who said he told Deity to go outside because she was disturbing other customers, but she refused to do so.
As an officer spoke with Deity, she “became loud and irate” and ignored requests to calm down the report states.
Deity was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
