Woman reports assault
An employee at Burger King, 101 Austin Graybill Road, reported that she was assaulted at work Thursday by a former co-worker.
North Augusta Public Safety responded to the restaurant about 7 p.m. and found the employee sitting outside the restaurant on the curb. The 20-year-old woman told police that the former co-worker came into the restaurant and asked to speak with her. The suspect stepped behind the counter, found the employee and punched her in the face, according to an incident report.
The suspect left after threatening that she would be back when the employee left for the evening.
Suspects take water heaters, break windows
An employee of Bradleyville Apartments LLC reported vandalism or theft at five of its properties in the 100 block of Bradleyville Road.
According to North Augusta Public Safety incident reports, between 8 a.m. Dec. 1 and 10 a.m. Thursday, windows at three of the apartments were broken, water heaters were stolen from unlocked storage areas behind two of the apartments, and the back door of another apartment was kicked in and its stove and refrigerator were stolen.
The total damage estimate was about $1,400, and the value of the stolen items was estimated at $1,400.
