Poetic Praise: Death is not Final

Posted: May 17, 2017 - 2:16am

Death is not final but only a door

That starts a new life but so very much more

In Heaven there's a mansion, Jesus said it would be

For all who trust him for all who believe

As the soul leaves the body for its flight through the skies

Heaven's host sing hosanna, Sounds of joy are their cries

Reunions abound friends and loved ones rejoice

Praise God to the highest and they all are of one voice

For death has no period just a comma instead

And a Christian is just sleeping and not really dead

As they slip through that door into a new life

Free from all pain or heartache or strife

Please celebrate your life and your time here on earth

Live life to the fullest for all you are worth

Love friends and your neighbors and the loved ones you hold dear

Love God to the Highest for the time we are here
