The South Carolina Supreme Court Monday upheld the drunken driving convictions of North Augusta man whose three sons died after he gave them alcohol and told his 15-year-old to drive his truck.

North Augusta authorities have issued a felony warrant against a Clearwater man they suspect was the driver in a fatal hit-and-run wreck on Atomic Road last month. Police say two North Augusta women who were riding with the suspect have been charged with drug offenses.

A North Augusta man arrested early Wednesday in a series of car break-ins in Aiken has also been linked to copper wire thefts totaling more than $30,000 from two Aiken County businesses, Aiken County authorities said Wednesday afternoon.
