The North Augusta City Council unanimously approved an option Monday night to purchase about 27.5 acres in Edgefield County that will be part of a new city park along Murrah and Five Notch roads.

After backing out of his commitment to Western Kentucky University last week, North Augusta Yellow Jackets forward Bryan Narcisse said Tuesday he will sign a basketball scholarship Wednesday with Clemson University.
