The South Carolina Department of Transportation will open for bid a project to improve the U.S. Highway 1/River North Drive interchange within the next two weeks, North Augusta officials said Monday.

The North Augusta High baseball and softball teams were both eliminated Wednesday night from the playoffs.

The playoff run for the Fox Creek High baseball team ended Tuesday night with an 11-1 loss to Indian Land.
The Predators won the Region 4-A title this year.
